Using this macro allows you quickly and easily stun a player that isn't your target or focus. For example, you may be attacking a melee while keeping the caster on focus to be able to interrupt them or see when they are going for crowd control. In this situation, the only way for you to be able to stun the healer without changing your target or focus is with an arena1/2/3 macro.

Having a focus rebuke macro allows you to easily kick a caster that you're not attacking while continung to deal damage to someone else. For example, without this macro, you wouldn't be able to interrupt a healer that's next to your kill target without targeting the healer first, which would result in a loss of damage.
